A 65-year-old woman tragically lost her life in a fire caused by dry cooking in her apartment in Månsarp, south of Jönköping, Sweden.

The woman was rushed to the hospital on Friday night but was unable to be saved.

The police, who were alerted to the fire in the multi-family house, suspect no foul play in relation to her death.

The cause of the fire has been attributed to dry cooking in the apartment.
