Work on restoring the E6 highway near Stenungsund is expected to be completed by July.
The road has been closed since a landslide on September 23, 2023. According to project manager Daniel Svensson from the Swedish Transport Administration, the schedule will hold if the weather cooperates.
Remaining tasks include asphalting, installing guardrails, and line painting.
Approximately 50,000 tons of soil and 8,000 tons of asphalt have been removed from the site.
