On Wednesday, King Carl XVI Gustaf will reinaugurate the E6 highway outside Stenungsund, and traffic will resume on Friday morning after last year's landslide.
The landslide that occurred in September caused significant disruption, forcing about 15,000 vehicles daily through Ucklum and injuring three people.
After nine months of intense repair work, the road has been restored faster than initially predicted.
The final truck from the incident, filled with rotting salmon, has also been cleared to ensure a smooth ceremony.
Local residents express relief as normalcy returns to the area.
