In the early hours of Thursday, a bus accident occurred in central Östersund when a bus veered off the road at the intersection of Stuguvägen and Allégatan, tumbling down a slope towards a pedestrian and bicycle path below.

Seven individuals, including passengers and the bus driver, were involved in the incident, with one person requiring hospitalization for minor injuries.

Emergency services, including fire, ambulance, and police, were promptly dispatched to the scene.

Following the accident, municipal workers were seen removing trees damaged during the mishap.

The incident has sparked concerns over road safety in the area.
