A group of 35 people who dined at Atmosfär Restaurant in Malmö, Sweden, leaving a hefty bill of 82,000 kronor ($9,000) unpaid, will face no consequences as police have dropped their investigation.
The group, allegedly led by a 42-year-old serial fraudster, left the restaurant without paying, claiming they had agreed to be invoiced which the restaurant owner denies.
The owner, who has little hope of ever receiving the payment, says they will have to accept the loss and focus on improving their booking and security protocols.
