A new UN report reveals that an increasing number of Ukrainian refugees in Sweden wish to stay in the country.
Currently, 68% of these refugees express a desire to build their lives in Sweden, citing safety and quality of life as key factors.
Anya Kovhan, a 19-year-old who fled Ukraine at 17, has established a new life in Stockholm, finding work and friends while worrying about her family back home.
Similarly, Yuliia Kyrpan, a mother of two, has decided to remain in Sweden for her children's safety, moving away from the threat of war.
With over 62,000 Ukrainian refugees granted temporary protection in Sweden, many are now looking to the future, hoping to make Sweden their permanent home.
