A well-known TV4 personality is now internationally wanted after failing to appear in court for charges of purchasing sexual services 31 times.

The man, who was scheduled for a hearing on Thursday, was absent, leading the court to issue an international arrest warrant.

Prosecutor Per Svensson confirmed suspicions that the individual is abroad and may be evading justice until the statute of limitations expires in 2026. The accused has admitted to most charges but denies one.

Despite being apprehended earlier this year, authorities have struggled to locate him for trial.

The case has sparked discussions about the ethical handling of public figures in legal proceedings.
