A tragic traffic accident occurred on County Road 276 near Norrtälje, resulting in the death of a man in his 75s following a head-on collision between two cars around noon on Monday.

Four individuals, including a woman and two children, were transported to the hospital with varying injuries, though their condition remains unknown.

The road was closed in both directions for over two hours as emergency services worked at the scene.

In response to the accident, police have launched an investigation into gross negligence in traffic.

The deceased's relatives have been notified.
