Starting today and running until May 31, a series of school elections are taking place across Sweden, allowing high school and upper secondary school students to vote for the party they wish to represent Sweden in the EU.
However, interest in holding EU-specific school elections is significantly lower than that for national elections, with just over 420 schools participating nationwide.
Boo gårds school in Nacka is among those conducting the EU school elections.
The results of these school elections will be announced on June 10, one day after the official EU election, offering a glimpse into the political preferences of Sweden's younger generation.
