In a shocking incident in Skåne, Sweden, parents have been accused of child abuse by fabricating their children's illness, leading to unnecessary medical procedures and isolation from society.

The siblings, aged 13 and 15, were believed to be severely ill throughout their lives, undergoing treatments and surgeries without any medical justification.

It was later discovered that they were not sick, and their education rights were neglected as they were kept away from the outside world.

A healthcare professional's report of suspicion in May led to the children being taken into care in September.
