The Center Party, Green Party, and Left Party in Sweden have expressed their intent to oust Climate and Environment Minister Romina Pourmokhtari (L) due to their dissatisfaction with the government's climate action plan.
While the Green Party and Center Party have already submitted their vote of no confidence to the parliamentary chamber, the Left Party supports the motion but has yet to file its formal declaration.
A vote on the minister's future is slated for January 17, pending two postponements.
Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson has criticized the opposition's move.
As of now, the parties have not garnered a majority in favor of the motion.
