Swedes Johan Floderus and Saeed Azizi returned home after being imprisoned in Iran on unfounded charges.
They were welcomed warmly by their families at Arlanda following a historic prisoner swap.
Amnesty International has criticized the exchange, arguing that Sweden gave up a strong negotiation advantage.
Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson acknowledged the complexities involved and emphasized that the alternative would have been leaving the two Swedes behind.
However, concern remains for other Swedes, including Ahmadreza Djalali, still detained in Iran.
