Sweden will observe a national moment of silence on Tuesday at 12:00 PM to honor the victims of the tragic mass shooting at Campus Risbergska in Örebro, which claimed ten lives.
Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson has invited the nation to join in this solemn act of remembrance.
In Örebro, a public gathering will take place at Stortorget, where local leaders will deliver speeches, and artists, including Jasmine Kara, will perform to pay tribute.
Flags will fly at half-mast from 9:00 AM until the silence concludes.
Public transportation in Västsverige will pause briefly to participate, with buses, trams, and boats stopping where possible.
The event will also be marked in the Swedish Parliament and broadcast live by SVT.
