Starting in 2025, Sweden plans to allow farm sales of alcohol.
Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson calls this a "reform for freedom.
" The proposal covers around 600 breweries, distilleries, and other producers, allowing them to sell limited quantities directly to consumers.
Social Minister Jakob Forssmed clarifies that sales will only occur during paid visits like tours or lectures.
The aim is to maintain Systembolaget's monopoly, compliant with EU law.
