The Swedish government has proposed a law allowing the sale of beer, wine, and spirits on Swedish farms.

Västra Ämtervik Brewery welcomes the news with cautious optimism.

If passed, the law will take effect next year and impact around 600 breweries, distilleries, and other manufacturers in Sweden.

Kristian Thorén from Västra Ämtervik Brewery believes the change reflects a new view on alcohol consumption and does not foresee it harming public health.
