A police officer in Stockholm faces charges for allegedly raping a woman in April last year.
The officer, in his 40s, was also previously convicted of misconduct during a drug sting in southern Stockholm in 2020. The rape reportedly took place after the officer met the woman online.
Court documents reveal that the woman sustained injuries and has been on sick leave periodically due to the trauma.
The officer denies the allegations, but has admitted to regretting meeting the woman.
