A severe snowstorm has caused multiple accidents across Sweden, with the E4 highway near Huskvarna being a major hotspot.

On Monday afternoon, a truck crashed into the median barrier, spilling diesel and blocking traffic in both directions.

The road was reopened by 9:30 PM after swift cleanup efforts.

Fortunately, the driver was unharmed.

The Swedish Transport Administration warns of hazardous road conditions as temperatures rise and refreeze, creating icy surfaces.

Several other accidents, including a truck overturning and car collisions, were reported in the region.

Authorities urge drivers to exercise caution as plows and salt trucks work to mitigate the risks.
