Two men, aged in their 30s and 40s, were found deceased in a wooded area near Gammelstadsviken in Luleå, following what is believed to be a snowmobile accident.

The incident, reported late Friday evening by a passerby, led to an overnight investigation by police technicians.

The snowmobile, previously reported stolen, was seized by authorities.

While initial findings suggest the men may have been exposed to the elements for several days, potentially leading to hypothermia, the police are treating the incident as an accident and have notified the next of kin.
