Sweden is bracing for a severe winter storm with the Swedish Meteorological and Hydrological Institute (SMHI) issuing multiple weather warnings across the country.
Areas in the northeast and west are predicted to be hit the hardest with a combination of strong winds and heavy snowfall.
Up to 30 centimeters of snow is expected in some areas, which could result in significant disruptions to road and public transport, and potential power outages.
The warnings are in effect from Wednesday through to Thursday.
Meteorologists urge the public to stay updated with weather forecasts and to take necessary precautions when venturing outdoors.
