A severe snowstorm is approaching from Norway on Wednesday.
The Swedish Meteorological and Hydrological Institute (SMHI) has issued nine warnings and the Swedish Transport Administration has dispatched tracked vehicles to western Sweden.
The snowstorm is expected to hit with substantial force, but meteorologically, it does not count as a snowstorm.

SMHI had nine active warnings for the snowstorm and a further string of wind warnings at sea on Tuesday evening.
Three of the snow warnings are orange, the second most serious category.
The rest are yellow.
According to SMHI's warning messages, the snowstorm is expected to cause major problems in road traffic, delays and cancellations of buses, trains and flights, and power outages in the area with airborne power lines.
