The Royal Court has cancelled the popular 'Open Palace' event on National Day due to budget constraints.

Several royal palaces will also be closed to visitors this summer.

This decision is part of a cost-saving measure to balance the budget following the pandemic and inflation.

Despite these closures, key attractions like Stockholm Palace and Drottningholm Palace remain open.

The Royal Court aims to reopen the Inner Courtyard on National Day next year.
