During the annual May Day celebrations, the Social Democrats' events in Gislaved and Västerås were disrupted by members of the neo-Nazi group, the Nordic Resistance Movement (NMR).
In Gislaved, protestors burned an EU flag and attempted to drown out Annika Strandhäll's speech, while in Västerås, Anders Ygeman's address was interrupted by individuals brandishing a banner.
The disturbances led to police intervention, resulting in arrests and reports of assault.
These incidents have sparked widespread condemnation from the Social Democrats, affirming their resolve to stand firm against right-wing extremism and uphold democratic values.
