A large fire engulfed an abandoned adventure park in Halmstad on Sunday, prompting emergency services to issue a warning about toxic smoke.

The fire, which blazed through the roof of an old restaurant within the park, saw the mobilization of 17 units from the fire department.

Despite the threats to nearby structures, including a dinosaur and a replica of the Globen, no injuries were reported.

An important public announcement (VMA) was issued regarding the hazardous smoke but was withdrawn after the fire was brought under control overnight.

Police have launched an investigation into suspected arson.
