A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a woman was found dead in an apartment in Sköndal, southern Stockholm.

The woman, in her 20s, was discovered around noon on Saturday.

The police were alerted by an SOS Alarm, but suspicion had already been raised, leading them to enter the apartment.

The deceased woman's family has been informed.

The arrested man, aged 35, was apprehended near the crime scene and is currently under investigation.

Police have conducted a crime scene investigation in the apartment and are continuing their work.
