A large fire broke out in an industrial building in Örkelljunga on Monday evening, prompting an emergency warning to residents.

The fire, which started around 18:30, caused significant smoke, leading authorities to advise people to shut doors, windows, and ventilation.

At least ten fire units responded to the scene, and the building, previously a hardware store warehouse, was empty.

Police have initiated an arson investigation, although the cause remains unknown.

No injuries have been reported.
