This week, Sweden is bracing for a heatwave with temperatures expected to soar between 25 to 30 degrees Celsius in many regions.

The Swedish Meteorological and Hydrological Institute (SMHI) has issued warnings, particularly for vulnerable groups like the elderly and those with existing health conditions.

By Thursday and Friday, much of the country will experience the peak of this heat.

However, a shift in weather patterns is forecasted for the weekend, bringing cooler temperatures and rain.
