The healthcare union's new contract with the Swedish Association of Local Authorities and Regions (SKR) has sparked significant backlash.
Many healthcare workers, especially nurses, feel the agreement falls short of their demands, particularly regarding reduced working hours.
Despite union leaders expressing satisfaction with the contract, numerous members voiced their disappointment on social media, calling the strike "worthless.
" The slight pay increase and minimal changes to working hours were seen as inadequate, especially given the ongoing staff shortages and overworking issues.
"I think it feels very sad," said psychiatric nurse Margareta Blid, echoing a sentiment felt by many.
