A two-week security zone in the Hageby district of Norrköping ended at midnight with 368 body searches and 41 vehicle searches conducted.
Police did not find firearms or explosives but intercepted one knife and detained some individuals.
Kristian Malzoff of the police stated that the zone successfully reduced violence.
While some officers were disappointed by the lack of significant weapon finds, Malzoff emphasized effective community communication as key.
Residents reportedly viewed the security measures positively.
