On Thursday evening, Hisingsbron bridge in Gothenburg got stuck in an open position, halting all traffic.

Simultaneously, a major power outage struck Hisingen, leaving about 13,000 customers without electricity.

Västtrafik is investigating if these events are connected.

Power was restored to most residents by 11:20 PM, and traffic on Hisingsbron resumed by 11:30 PM.
