Anna-Greta Leijon, a prominent figure in Swedish politics and a former Minister of Justice, has passed away after a short illness at the age of 84. Leijon, who served as a member of the Swedish Parliament from 1974 to 1990 and held various ministerial positions, including Minister of Employment and Minister of Justice during her tenure.
Beyond her political career, she was also the head of Skansen, Sweden's first open-air museum and zoo, and served as the chairperson of the board for the Modern Museum in Stockholm.
