Lea Gleitman, one of the last Holocaust survivors in Skåne, has passed away at the age of 100. She was born in Oswiecim, Poland, and survived the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp.
Gleitman moved to Malmö, Sweden, where she devoted nearly 30 years to educating the public about the atrocities of the Holocaust.
Her daughter, Barbro Posner, highlighted her mother's sense of duty to share her experiences to ensure history would not be forgotten.
Lea leaves behind a legacy of remembrance and education.
