A significant fire broke out in a restaurant located in a large commercial building in Vagnhärad, Trosa municipality, early this morning.

The fire, which started in the restaurant, quickly spread through the building's roof and construction.

Emergency services were alerted around 4:30 AM and have been battling the blaze with units from five different stations.

Despite the challenging conditions, the fire is currently under control, though efforts to fully extinguish it are ongoing.

The building, which houses multiple businesses, has been cordoned off by police, and a police dog is assisting in the investigation.

Fortunately, there is no immediate risk of the fire spreading to nearby structures.
