A fire broke out at a restaurant on Tegnergatan in central Stockholm shortly after noon on Friday.

The blaze reportedly started in the kitchen and quickly spread, causing significant smoke in the building.

Emergency services responded promptly, evacuating the premises and working to extinguish the flames.

By 1:50 PM, the fire was under control, but one person was taken to the hospital, with the nature of their injuries still unclear.

Police have cordoned off parts of Tegnergatan for safety and will investigate the cause of the fire, although no criminal investigation has been initiated at this time.
