A powerful explosion shook Hammarby Sjöstad in Stockholm early Monday morning, causing significant damage to a residential building.

The blast, which occurred around 1:26 AM, destroyed the building's entrance and shattered windows in nearby apartments.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported, though residents were left shaken by the incident.

Police quickly apprehended a man in the vicinity who is now considered a person of interest in the investigation.
