The Swedish Work Environment Authority (Arbetsmiljöverket) has reported the company ABC Bygghissar for prosecution following a tragic accident in Sundbyberg last winter.

In December, a construction elevator suddenly fell 31 meters to the ground, resulting in the deaths of five construction workers.

"We believe that one of the companies on the construction site failed to comply with certain provisions of the Work Environment Act," said Lennart Adérn, a lawyer at Arbetsmiljöverket.
