In a harrowing incident on the eve of Easter, a man was arrested after threatening to set fire to a caravan at a campground in Strömstad, Sweden.

During the altercation, the man, reportedly in his 50s and under the influence of alcohol, poured 20 liters of diesel around a caravan and threatened several individuals, including men in their 20s and 50s, with violence.

Witnesses described the scene as chaotic, with efforts made to separate the involved parties before the situation escalated further.

The authorities, utilizing drones among other resources, managed to apprehend the suspect who is now facing charges including attempted arson, illegal threats, and assault.

All individuals involved in the altercation are reported to be Norwegian.
