Thirteen demonstrators were arrested after disrupting a graduation ceremony at Uppsala University.

The incident occurred just before 11 AM on Monday when the demonstrators took the stage and refused to leave.

Police arrived shortly after and arrested the individuals for disobedience to law enforcement.

As a result, the university has now restricted general public access to the building.

The police have not specified the exact cause of the demonstration.
