Three individuals are facing charges of disobedience to law enforcement following a pro-Palestinian demonstration at Lundagård, Lund University.
The charges stem from their refusal to leave a tent camp when police cleared the area for a doctoral promotion ceremony in late May.
Prosecutor Maximilian Lönn is seeking fines of 1,500 kronor for each defendant.
The trial, scheduled for next week, will examine whether the protesters' actions sufficiently disturbed public order to warrant conviction.
One of the accused, 23-year-old teaching student Måns Lekander, stated he remained to draw attention to civilian casualties in Gaza.
The case highlights the balance between protest rights and public order maintenance.
