Tidningen Fokus has released its annual survey on the best municipalities to live in Sweden, conducted by Infostat.
Umeå topped the list, followed by Luleå and Karlstad.
Factors considered included education, job opportunities, and infrastructure.
Hans Lindberg, Umeå's municipality chairman, expressed delight, highlighting northern Sweden's excellent living conditions.
The survey also revealed Solna as ideal for 20-year-olds, Luleå for families, and Örnsköldsvik for retirees.
