Tidningen Aktuell Hållbarhet recently unveiled its annual list of the 101 most influential people in sustainability in Sweden, with Herman Afzelius, chairman of the PFAS Association, topping the rankings for his legal battle over contaminated drinking water in Kallinge.
Among those recognized are executives and sustainability officers from major companies such as Axfood, Ragn-Sells, Ikea, and Sweco, highlighting their efforts to drive sustainable practices in their industries.
Notably, venture capitalist Harald Mix was praised for his investments in sustainable solutions like H2 Green Steel, Aira, and a textile recycling initiative with H&M.
The list also includes activists and politicians, with Center Party's EU Parliament member Emma Wiesner receiving the highest ranking among politicians for her contributions to sustainability.
