In a recent development in the murder case of 17-year-old Maja from Kinna, two relatives of the prime suspect, a 17-year-old boy, have been arrested.
They were detained on probable cause for aiding a criminal and firearms offenses, following the discovery of a weapon during a house search.
Despite the weapon's discovery, prosecutors currently believe it is not linked to Maja's murder.
The investigation began after Maja went missing last week and was found dead near a railway bridge, a location revealed by the suspect during interrogation.
A third individual suspected of aiding a criminal was also arrested but has since been released.
