The community of Marks kommun is reeling from the tragic death of 17-year-old Maja, whose body was discovered following a delayed police search.

Maja was reported missing last Thursday after she failed to return from school.

It wasn't until Monday that a significant search operation was launched.

New details emerged as the detained teenage boy, also 17, mentioned a "secret place" near a railway bridge, leading police to the crime scene.

The initial confusion over the number of suspects has been cleared, with the court confirming only one suspect, who appears to have been acquainted with Maja.
