Train traffic has been completely halted through Linköping due to a police operation surrounding a suspected dangerous object at the city's travel center.

The national bomb squad has been called in to assess the situation.

All trains between Stockholm and Malmö, as well as regional lines, are affected.

The stoppage began at 4 PM, with no forecast for when it will be lifted.
