The Social Democrats in Sweden have proposed a series of measures aimed at tackling housing issues and segregation in disadvantaged areas.
Leading the initiative, Lawen Redar, among other proposals, suggests the demolition of existing housing, imposing income requirements for new tenants, and implementing a national census.
These measures aim to bring more self-sufficient residents to these areas and reduce socio-economic disparities.
Critics argue these plans lack research support and may not effectively address segregation.
The final decision on these proposals will be made at the party's congress in 2025.
