The Sweden Democrats experienced a significant decline in their traditional strongholds, Skåne and Blekinge, in the latest EU elections.
Voter support dropped from 15.3% in 2019 to 13.2% this year, with notable losses in every municipality within these regions.
Party chairman Fredrik Thomasson views the results as an opportunity for growth and learning.
On a national scale, Sweden Democrats fell to fourth place behind the Moderates and the Green Party.
Meanwhile, the Liberals are at risk of losing their spot in the EU Parliament.
