On Friday morning, pro-Palestinian students set up a tent camp near the Swedish Parliament in Stockholm to demand governmental action against Israel.
About a dozen tents were erected at Strömparterren, close to the Parliament, with demonstrators calling for a "strengthened independence" for universities and a full arms embargo against Israel.
These students had previously staged similar protests at several Swedish universities including Uppsala, Stockholm, Gothenburg, and Lund.
The protestors targeted Education Minister Mats Persson (L), urging universities to cut ties with Israeli institutions and companies.
Police are currently at the scene to monitor the demonstration.
