Several pro-Palestinian protesters have entered the main building of the University of Gothenburg at Vasaplatsen.

According to police, around 15 demonstrators have chained themselves inside the premises to protest during a school board meeting.

Police were seen carrying out demonstrators from the building, while others outside shouted slogans through megaphones.

The protesters demand the university to take a clear stand on the Gaza conflict and end collaborations with Israeli universities.

The area outside the building, dubbed "Gazaplatsen" by demonstrators, has been a campsite for over a month.
