Incidents of severe weather and road accidents are on the rise in Sweden due to the arrival of Storm Pia.
The storm has prompted the Swedish Meteorological and Hydrological Institute (SMHI) to issue multiple weather warnings, including an orange alert for high water levels along the west coast.
This has led to disruptions in road and rail transport, with all train services over the Öresundsbron suspended and several roads blocked due to accidents.
There have been multiple vehicle accidents reported, including a bus crashing into a rock face in Bohuslän, a tanker truck overturning and spilling diesel fuel on road 164, and a four-car accident near Timrå on the E4. Despite these challenges, authorities are working tirelessly to manage the situation and restore normalcy.
