A severe fire has engulfed an ICA supermarket in Norra Haga, Västerås.
The incident began when the store staff alerted the police about a disruptive individual.
During the call, the fire broke out, leading to a fully developed blaze.
The police have since arrested a person suspected of serious arson.
Due to heavy smoke, a significant public message (VMA) has been issued, advising locals to stay indoors and close all doors, windows and ventilation.
The area around the store has been corded off.
No injuries have been reported at this stage.
Firefighters are working to control the smoke spread, and the operation is expected to last for several hours.
The building will be allowed to burn down.
