A worker fell from a high scaffold at Söderenergi in Södertälje, injuring themselves seriously before being airlifted to Karolinska Hospital.

Police spokesperson Carina Skagerlind stated that the accident is under investigation but did not confirm the reported fall distance of 20 meters.

The incident occurred around 10:00 AM on Thursday during maintenance work.

Company spokesperson Camilla Koebe expressed shock and said Söderenergi is conducting an internal investigation, noting that the worker was alive but unresponsive when transported.
